In order to live full, active lives and maintain our physical and
psychological well being, we all need time to rest, recuperate
and exercise. The way in which we spend our leisure time is
therefore important (and also individual) to us all, regardless of
whether or not we have epilepsy.
Choices should be realistic not restrictive. Epilepsy is a very
individual condition so choices about whether or not to participate
in particular activities or sports need to be made on an individual
basis – ideally with full involvement of the person who will be
undertaking them.
